Daily Sentinel Printed Letters: Boebert Has Done Much For Western Slope
Boebert has done much for West Slope and nation
It was wonderful to see U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert at Deltarado Days! She walked the whole length of the parade, in the heat, and took time along the way to greet people, shake hands, and “high-five” lots of kids. She was energetic and smiling, and she got a great reception from the crowd.
She deserves it. She has done a lot for the Western Slope and for the country. She’s a firebrand who says what she means and stands up for conservative values.
Boebert introduced legislation to stop Biden’s Orwellian “disinformation board,” an amendment to stop the Department of Defense Education Activity schools from having pornographic and radical gender ideology books in their school libraries, and amendments to protect parents’ rights to know if their children’s schools allow biological boys in girls’ restrooms and locker rooms.
She continues to work to protect oil, gas, and mineral leases, introduced a bill to designate fentanyl as a WMD (it currently kills an estimated 70,000 Americans a year), and much, much more.
Rep. Boebert went to D.C. as a novice with strong beliefs in individual rights and the Constitution. She quickly gathered an experienced staff that did a wonderful job of guiding her through the (unfortunate) intricacies of our federal government. She has retained her strong beliefs (hard to do in the Beltway!) and has become an astute legislator.
I am proud to have Rep. Boebert as my CD-3 representative. I think that the more you learn about her, the more you’ll agree.
