FOX 21: Boebert, Trump Jr. attract over 600 people to Pueblo Freedom Fest

Big-name Republicans attended and spoke at a fundraising event in Pueblo on Saturday evening. Keynote speakers, Donald Trump Jr. and Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), energized a crowd of over 600 Coloradans, at the Grand Old Party Freedom Fest.

The event hosted by the Pueblo County Republican Party, took place at the Colorado State Fairgrounds, from 5:00-9:00 p.m. People from around the state bought tickets that were sold for $75 each. Organizers said the event was completely sold out.

“We knew it was going to be big. We were close to being sold out before, and then when we got Donald Trump Jr. committed,” said Sean Conti, Pueblo County Republican Party communications chair.

As Trump Jr. and Rep Boebert spoke, the crowd responded with cheers and chants in the name of freedom and booed at anything Joe Biden. The outspoken Republicans said they were there to show the people of rural Colorado that their voices matter.
