Newsletter: Important Updates from Team Boebert

Spending Time with Constituents

Lauren earned great coverage from the Montrose Daily press by actively engaging with them and sharing her accomplishments for the 3rd District. The story mentioned major wins like the Pueblo Jobs Act and nearly $20 million in funding secured through the House Appropriations Committee for community projects in the 3rd District.

Supporting Small Business

Lauren presented two local organizations with Congressional Recognition for their contributions to their community and Mesa County. The Business Incubator Center and Valkyrie Recovery System were both recognized for their contributions as job creators and innovators in the aerospace industry.

Town Hall in Fruita

At a fireside chat on Monday in Fruita, Lauren laid out her accomplishments and discussed with voters the many pieces of legislation tied to local issues she is working to get passed in the coming months. Lauren took more than a half dozen questions from the audience on issues like water and improving the rules in Congress, showing a deep knowledge of the issues and ability to articulate how she is fighting for 3rd District voters on a variety of topics.

VIDEO: Addressing Water Issues in Gunnison

As part of Lauren’s recent $20 million win for community projects through the House Appropriations Committee, $1.75 million will be going to the Gunnison community to build a new water treatment plant. The new facility will help make sure Gunnison residents have clean drinking water for generations. Lauren Boebert spent an entire day in Gunnison County meeting with local stakeholders and hearing about the issues affecting them.

Op-Ed: Don’t Go Underestimating Lauren Boebert

Lauren is taking the lead on a bipartisan bill that protects endangered fish in the 3rd District and allows water users to avoid dealing with any new regulations. This is a common-sense bill directly focused on the 3rd District and endorsed by a broad coalition of groups, including environmental groups and tribal organizations.
